Sulphur Springs Guest Ranch is nestled in the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range just outside the quaint town of La Veta. The 160 acre ranch is bordered by 30,000 acres of National Forest, providing access for hiking, horseback riding and other activities. We offer 5 beautiful, fully restored and decorated cottages with full kitchens, 2 bedrooms, living room with futon bed and wood burning stove, and bathroom with shower. The cabins sleep 5. A rock wall, characteristic of the area, is behind the cottages. Indian Creek rustles by the front.
If you are planning a family reunion or wedding, there is the historic 1,500s.f. Dance Hall, which has an industrial kitchen and two bathrooms. We accept cash, check, Visa or Mastercard. The cottages rent for $125 for a one night visit, $105 if you plan to stay for two nights or more. Weekly rates can be provided. The Dance Hall is available at $200 for one day, $150 for two or more. Guests are welcomed from May 1st through October 31st. Numerous corrals are available to board your horses. PVC fencing (no barbed wire) directs horses to the creek for fresh water.
